Nestled along a secluded farm track just beyond the picturesque village of South Milton, in the heart of the South Hams, Didwell Farm campsite is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature whilst soaking in the views down through the valley towards the sea at Thurlestone.

Operating as part of a working mixed livestock farm, Didwell Farm stands out as a small family-friendly site with spacious grass pitches offering a tranquil, relaxed rural setting for back-to-basics camping.

Nearby

The charming village of Thurlestone is only a mile away from Didwell. Thurlestone is home to an appealing 18-hole links golf course, a 13th-century church, a cosy pub offering delicious cuisine, a post office, and a village shop. Additionally, The Thurlestone Hotel provides a variety of spa facilities for guests to enjoy.

The stunning sandy beach at Thurlestone, connecting with South Milton Sands, is a favourite spot for beach enthusiasts and water sports lovers alike.

A quick drive or a leisurely stroll along the South West Coast Path will lead you to the quaint fishing village of Hope Cove, where you'll find two smaller beaches and a selection of dining options. Other nearby beaches waiting to be explored include Soar Mill Cove, Bantham, Bigbury, and Yarmer, which can be discovered while walking along the South West Coast Path or venturing a bit further out.

If you're looking to take a break from the beach,

visit the delightful market town of Kingsbridge, which

offers local shops, craft beer bars, and a recently renovated leisure centre. Alternatively, a short 10-minute drive will bring you to the popular boating hub of Salcombe, known for its picturesque narrow streets, boutique stores, and abundance of dining establishments.
